Knox Hutchinson, SPOTO trainer, teaches you how to optimize your network’s security, efficiency, and security by taking direct control over the routes, tables, and decisions that determine which packets go where.
This is the new Juniper training.
All computer networks rely on policies and filters to control what packets go where. Some policies and filters are automatically set up, while others can be optimized using programs and tools. However, network administrators are responsible for configuring them.
This Junos Routing Policy & Firewall Filters training focuses on the policies & filters that regulate Juniper network traffic. You’ll learn the difference between network devices knowing where traffic should be sent to ensure it reaches its destination and network devices knowing what packets are allowed to different interfaces to protect the network.
This two-part series covers topics like managing the size and contents of routing tables, advertising different routes depending on which route is most likely to reach various destinations, as well as protecting your router from excessive incoming traffic.
